Emily Woodard has been a registered nurse since 1998 and has worked in healthcare quality since 2005. Her passion for working to improve the patient experience led her to seek training as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and she has held positions on the Board of both the local (NTAHQ) and State (TAHQ) associations to collaborate with quality leaders in Texas to improve healthcare delivery. She returned to school for a BSN in 2006, and an MBA in 2015, and considers herself a lifelong learner. Positions prior to working at Teladoc Health have been largely acute care hospital, giving her experience with The Joint Commission, DNV, NCQA, and non-accredited hospital surveys directly with CMS. Teladoc Health received initial accreditation with URAC in 2019 for both C2P and P2C.
